What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as filter selections) over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter them each time you visit or navigate between pages.
Types of cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to function. They enable core functionality such as security, session management, and CSRF protection on forms. The site cannot function properly without these cookies, and you cannot opt out of them.
2. Preference cookies
These cookies remember choices you make on the site — for example, your selected filters on the Top Realtors directory — so we can provide a more personalized experience on your next visit.
3. Analytics cookies
We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are popular, how visitors navigate, and where they come from. This helps us improve the site. These cookies collect aggregated, anonymized information and do not directly identify you.
4. Third-party cookies
Some pages may embed content or fonts from third parties (for example, Google Fonts, Boxicons, or social media widgets). These providers may set their own cookies. We do not control third-party cookies — please review the cookie policies of those providers for details.
How to control cookies
You have several ways to control or limit cookies:
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies. See the "Help" or "Preferences" menu of your browser for instructions.
- Do Not Track. Your browser may include a "Do Not Track" setting. We respect this signal where technically feasible.
- Opt-out tools. For analytics tools, industry opt-out pages such as Google Analytics Opt-out may be available.
Please note that if you disable strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work properly.
Cookies and personal data
Most of the information we collect through cookies is not personally identifiable. Where cookies do collect information that could be considered personal data under applicable law, we handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
